If I want to do a bank reconciliation for peachtree but they havent been done for several months what is the best order of operations and is there a good online resource for peachtree directions? Thank you

I have a dilemma. I have only been working for this company for 2 years. I need to retrieve some info from the tax years 2001,2003, and 2004. Of course these years have been closed out in Peachtree. The person who done the accounting here before I came along was not great at keeping records, so my only hope is that I can somehow pull these years back up. I have heard that this can be done, but I have no idea how. Please help me if you can, I am desperate. Thanks in advance.

I am using peach tree for inventory and invoicing etc. I would like to know if I purchase a barcode reader will it be easy to link between barcode and peachtree for Invoicing. I also have Tally accounting package. will barcode work in this. Thank you,

A barcode scanner is simply a user input device, no different than a mouse or a keyboard. It reads the barcode and converts the code into text, then inputs the text to your software just like you typed it in. So yes, it will work with either of the software packages you mentioned.

i have a small network in my office (about 5 computers) and i dont know how to use peachtree accounting software on the network so that we all can input data at the same time and the data will sychronise. the office is a sales outlet so u understand what i am talking about.

I bought Peachtree 1st accounting software for a small business I'm starting up. The company says NONE of their software works with Internet Explorer 7.0 and to contact Microsoft about it. They say to uninstall 7.0 and put 6.0 sp2 back on but I won't tak the step backwards. Nowhere on the box does it say not compatable with IE7 just minimum requirements IE 6.0 and my computer more than meets the rest of the requirements. What can I do? Never used but registered it like a dummy.
