I'm looking for a bank in the Bay Area where I can do my banking online. Has anyone had a particularly good experience with any of the local banks?

I use Wells Fargo and I like it - online bill paying is a lot more convenient than rummaging around for stamps every month. And it's easy to find out online what my current balance is.

set me up to bank online i want to pay my bills there i don't want it to be automatic i will remind myself when to do it/therfore,don' help me to be timelyis this the web site?

Check your area I use a bank that offers free on line bill pay with my checking account.I only have the house payment go automatically but do the rest Gas, Lights, phone, Insurance ect. I do manually only takes a few seconds and works well.You can even (and is what i do mostly) When I get a bill the day I receive it I go on line to pay it and tell it to pay 3 to 5 days before the due date write the conformation # down and file it.The money doesn't come out of your account until the day you tell it to pay on.

Please point me in the right direction. Looking for % of U.S. banking online, adpotion rates over the years...

One would guess you to be in marketing. Try the sites below and your company intranet, if you are working for large corporates.

I just opened checking account w/1st conveniece bank and there offices are closed but i want to check my account online and can't find there website.

Do not guess. Do not enter or enroll for online banking uless you are certain of the web address. You really need to contact the bank. Never enter any of your personal account information on a web site that you are not certain of. I would think that by looking at the material you received with the new accounts package that there web address would be there somewhere. Wouldn't it be terrible if you entered all of your personal account data on the wrong banks web site. For instance, I have a friend that enrolled for online banking and filled out this long online form with all of this account information, social security number, mothers maiden name--all of that stuff. It was for Alliance Bank in Virginia. He was on the wrong web site and enrolled on Alliance Bank in California. Now all of this data is sitting where it should NOT be. Better to be safe now than to be sorry later.

My friend of mine has lent me £30 via online banking to buy a xbox 360. The offer for the 360 ends on the 30th of May so I need to of recieved the payment by then. He sent the money from natwest online banking on Saturday, but its a bank holiday today and apparently it takes 3 business for the money to clear. So if anyone has used online banking to send payments could you tell me how long it takes for the other person to recieve the payment. And also, if I dont recieve the payment on time and go down to the bank and put cash into my bank, will that instantly go into my bank balance?? Thanks.
