hi there!! i knew the guy from ebay,he is selling a phone for very low price,and he asked me to contact him before i bid on the item,i just talked to him on yahoo messenger about 20 mins ago.he says we cant trade on ebay because he doesnt had an account of ebay,he wants me to send the money to his bank account, and he say it would only take 1 day to delivery to phone to my door after i paid,and the money i paid to him would takes about 3 or 4 for him to receive. so is he saying the turth?it really take 3 or 4 days for him to receive the money? can we trade it via internet banking? and is internet banking safe?

if you send him the money he will get it BUT will you get the phone? transfer will take about that time buy on line at your own risk i have used e-bay a lot & never had a problem but they sat dont do deals outside there site

i keep getting asked in my e_mails if i would like to buy downloadable books etc.. although it sounds very interesting is it safe to give my bank details on line or would it be risky has anybody had any horror stories with this kind of subscription thankyou in advance for any info

If you are getting those offers in your email and if they are unsolicited then most chances are that they are not genuine. However as far as giving bank details online it is fine till you are on a reputed site and the site uses secure payment system (like they are using verisign certificate, SSL - check whether the site address start with https instead of http, this is only one check). Best is to purchase from reputed sites and be careful while giving you bank card details. Second way is get online shopping card which come in fixed denomination so even if some one manipulate you loose only very low amount. Mantra is be careful and cautius
