Go to a wrestling school were you would train
Then, if you're good enough go to a independent show
Then, the wwe scouts talent, and if you're good enough they'll pick you.

Think of all your interests & ask yourself if any of those could be expanded into a business. Just keep in mind...what's your expertise? What are your interests? What could you imagine yourself doing?
By researching the prospect of starting your own business -- what it entails, what you need to know, helpful hints, etc -- you'll feel better prepared to take that plunge.
I found some book titles that are relevant to your specific question:

* The Best Home Businesses for the 21st Century by Paul Edwards
* Selling Online: How to Become a Successful E-Commerce Merchant by Jim Carroll

I also posted some article links in the source box.

Question #3: Should I buy my college textbooks or should I photocopy them?
|
|
Ok I know that many people are going to be bragging about the writer's rights and that's it's illegal blah blah, but right now my country is in a difficult economic situation and the last thing I can do right now is spend hundreds on textbooks.
I'll buy the books if I find them for cheap on the net. Last semester I was too lucky to find brand new books originally worth hundreds of books for 10-20 dollars, but seems that this time I am not going to be lucky.
I have photocopied books before and saved tons of money, but is hectic being every week in the photocopier's library photocopying tons of pages when having other people waiting in line behind me. I like having my books with me for instant reference and to avoid this, but the books from my biology concentration are very expensive.
Ha I even sold a book original worth hundreds of bucks which I found for 10 bucks online for a higher price (bellow 100). That's how business should be.
What would you do in my situation?
books worth hundreds of dollars*
Best Answer
If you're taking the class, you're expected to buy the book. If you have constant access to the book to be able to photocopy it, why not read the original? (I assume you're borrowing it from a friend or from the library.) Photocopying is just as expensive in the long run, assuming you're paying per page, and you don't have a book to sell back at the end of the year . . .

Question #4: I believe my hair stylist is being petty?
|
|
She has been doing my nails for years on my lunch hour (I work full-time). I have the flexibility to arrive back at the office in 1-1/2 hours, and changed my appt. time to 11:30 instead of 12 for ease so I get back before 1. However, there are times when she can't take me at 11:30, and gets defensive if I request someone else in the shop to do them. I feel I should be a standing booking, every two weeks, at our agreed upon time of 11:30. There are also times when I am there on time, but have to wait 15 minutes because she is finishing up another customer. Am I being unreasonable? How would you handle the situation? If this keeps up I may have to change the day for another tech, or take my nail business elsewhere. I am a loyal customer, but also need to protect my job and don't feel I should be the one to be inconvenienced.
Best Answer
I have noticed over the years that stylists get very possessive over their clients. The bottom line is that she is working for you. You need to be blunt with her and say that you would like a standing appointment, but if she can't guarantee that you will have to use someone else. You can do this is a nice way, you wouldn't want to cause any hard feelings. Explain to her that you are only on a lunch break (although I'm sure she knows that) and tell her your workplace is getting stricter. (a little white lie)

Question #5: I sell Avon, but I am trying to build my business.Where did you meet y
|
|
I have been putting books in the neighborhoods near my house.I put out 500 books every 2 weeks. Not getting the results that I had hoped for. I'm interested in what makes you want to buy Avon from one source and not another. Tell me what get's your Avon motor running! lol... Thanks I really appreciate it. You people are great!
Best Answer
I've bought Avon from a women at work. We were already friends before and she picked it up as a side job. It's always nice to get to know some of your customers and that way they will build a personal bond with you and it creates repeat customers.
One idea I had, was to put out flyers to host an Avon Day at a local nail salon. Speak to the salon owners to see if you can get a 10% discount for all clients that come in on a day with one of your flyers. The salon gets new customers and free advertising, you get to meet some people and sell to them directly. The only cost to you is printing some flyers and the time it takes putting them around the neighborhood and in other stores.
