I know we are supposed to workout for 1 hour at least to burn some fat off the body...but right now i cant do that. i live in florida and its horror when your out in the sun going running...i was planning on going running in the evening...which i am very well gonna do. but i have no excercise machines...and i dont go to a gym. im 13 okay? but anyways...im starting to do cardio...but i cant do 1 hour at a time...today i only did 15 minutes, and ive been eating healthy. is this good? im gonna work my way up to an hour...is 15 minutes a good start, or do i need to push myself more? oh and do u have any other ideas for cardio? i dont have a bike..im getting one, but i cant get it yet. and i dont have excercise videos..or the equipment to use them.

a start is always a start...try 30 minutes, if you can to start. If its too hard try lower levedl/speed on the cardio machine and move up and down for the 30 minutes. example on the treadmill star by walking for about 10 minutes then run for 5 then walk for 5 then run and walk (cool down) eventually you should be able go on longer, whatevr machien you are using. Just stick to it whether its 15 minutes or an hour...do it and good luck! :)

I weigh 124 pounds so im not trying to lose a lot of weight. Im just trying to lose the fat on my lower back. In the morning I do 15 minutes of cardio, running around my block. I eat pretty good but im not on a diet because im already thin. At night I run up and down my aprtment stairs for 20 minutes. Then I do 150 crunches. Is this a good enough workout? And how long should it take to lose the lower back fat?

That is a decent cardio and I like that you found ways in your home to do it. You should work on other core exercises besides the crunches, there are many better ways to work the abs and low back then doing crunches. okay so i jogged along a bikepath for about 15-20 minutes...halfway through my jog what should my heart rate be for minute?..i started at 90 and ended around 180.

So I decided that I want to finaly get in shape and put the pool in my backyard to good use. What I didn't know was how much actual laps across the pool tires you out, and I was pretty much wiped out in 15 minutes. My overall goal is just to generally lose a little weight and get into shape, even if only just a little bit, but I don't know if thats gonna happen if I can only do this 15 minutes at a time every day. What do you think? Oh and by the way I got REALLY dizzy and disoriented afterwards, is this just because I haven't swam or exercised for a while, or does that happen whenever you swim that hard, meaning that I should slow down?

ummm, i think you should keep swimmin as hard as you can and see how long you can last..the more you do it, the longer you'll be able to last. it's a good work, and yeah..you're dizzy cuz you haven't worked out in a while. it'll go away! [smiley face!] hahahah

first of all that is the cutes thing I ever heard! you got some points just for that already. What you should do is write a note saying that the next 6 days, are going to be something to remember, that way you can give her to her before the 2mns. are over. The next day give her a single rose, with something that you like about her on a note. and so on keep doing little thing that you think she will like. On the 7th day give her a dozen Rosa's and ask er if she change her mind, if she is giver a kiss. if not asker for another 15mns...........Lol just playing
