I'm trying to come up with a creative domain name for a blog related to jobs, employment, careers, etc. So far, I came up with treasurechestjob.blogspot.com, but I'm not too happy with it. What techniques can I use to come up with another name? I changed it to careercatch.blogspot.com. Not too crazy about this either but it's better than the first one. Still accepting ideas. Thanks.

get another site to park your domain name and the transfer it. You can contact yahoo customer service and have them help you transfer so it is done correctly. Be careful of those great offers of domain registration and hosting. Some are very poor quality in everyway possible. Freewebs is notorius for bad quality everyway you turn.

Your domain name is your unique identifier on the internet the same as your telephone number and street address are unique in the offline world. It is what separates you from the 120 million or so websites on the internet today. A good domain name is both descriptive of the website content and easy to remember. It tells the human visitor and the search engine spiders what your website is about. Domain names will also help build brand awareness.

I changed my computer's domain name and now it won't let me log on anymore!! Is there anything I can do to reset my domain name?? If you can not log in at all and you can not select your domain from the drop down menu as suggested above - Try unplugging your computer from the network. This may help you log in - after you log in try to change your domain name back to what it was before. If you still can not log in try to change the domain name in the dropdown box to your local computer name and use the username Administrator with no password. This is not fool proof as if someone changed the admin password, like they should have, you still will not be able to login - you can also try your login username and password but there is a chance that will not work either.

Unfortunately, most Internet visitors may not make the visual connection between "2" and "L". Interesting thought though, a similar idea would be to use "52" instead of "2", which if you stare at it long enough looks like a heart symbol. You do have to stare a while at it though.
