ABSOLUTLY! Everything that you do will come back to hurt you when it comes to debt. These people handle the different companies that you owe, and you pay the Money Management place each month and they disperse the money to the different creditors, but sometimes these monies do not get where they are supposed to go, or, the debt does not get taken off your credit report as promised. Your credit rating is already hurt by having a debt in the first place, what you need to do is get a handle on your money management yourself, instead of hoping some company with false statements and empty promises will help you reconcile your debts.

Hi, I'm a sophomore at college studying International Business management. I have big dreams and a lot of ambition to succeed in life. I am very good at saving money and planning my budget and I want to make something while I'm at college. Some kind of investment.. or maybe some kind of business. I like taking risks but I also like to stay in the safe side and plan ahead... What would be a good way to save money, earn money and make it big? right now I have some money in a CD so I have a year to plan the best for that money and I would really appreciate some ideas... thank you!!!

im in your same situation, and i opted for the Roth IRA. My mutual fund is a little riskier, but yeilds higher returns. They are still considered safe investments and have been recommended to me on numerous occasions. Since we are young we have compounding interest on our sides to make us bank in the long run. good luck!!

they go by CCCS (consumer credit counseling service), also. i used them, and they really ruined my credit rating. they are legit, but they suck!

Hotel/Motel management Resort Management International Business I want to major in either of these choices but I am still not sure what I want to do. I would like to find out how much money I would be making if I did pick one of the majors. Like what is the starting salary? Also, what catagory should I actually post this question in? And, how do I know and find the right University for me? Thanks:)

I was just hired to work for MRI and am very excited about the potential income. However, I read on a message board that MRI is a scam and that it is like selling Mary-Kay or used cars, and that I'll never make any money. On the other hand, I can't find anything negative at all on the Web about working for MRI. Everyone seems to like it. Any inside knowledge would be awesome. Are you a recruiter for another company? What does MRI's competition have to say about it? Thanks!

My husband worked for them. He was promised a lot but we ended up having to move to Philadelphia (where they are based) and never got a chance to unpack before they shut down his division... so for us it was a little unorganized. I will say that I think this was his VP that has now been let go. Ok that is our experience. He did get paid a lot while he was there.... we now run our own recruiting company and really make great money. If you are a recruiter with them... make a ton of calls and make yourself available to your candidates and/or clients. Every MRI office is individually owned so they are all franchise. You can make a ton of money (depending on the bonus/commission structure), but they will be making it as well. I would tell you to learn as much as you can and get out and work for yourself. You can work from home and there are a lot of recruiter networks out there to do "splits" with. You can email me if you want more info. Also, beware of no compete agreements. That is what finally made us do it on our own... he didn't want to sign another one again and after sitting his last one out we did it! I would like to add one more thing... my husband made another recruiting company 15 million when he worked for them. They kept telling him that he would get wonderful commissions and bonuses, however they never came. They practacally wanted him to thank them for the $55,000 that they paid him. He learned a lot from them so staying there was good for us in the long run. Now we work for ourselves and make six times their salary to him a year. Good luck!
