Trying to get ahead of the game, I have disputed some items on all 3 credit reports and want additional info. If a company reports only to 2 bureaus that info is current and accurate but fail to notify the 3rd bureau, is it enough cause to have it removed from the other bureaus? So if a company fails to report to all bureaus and an item is deleted from one can you have that same item deleted from another?

No , they dont have to report to all the bureaus. They can report to the one they report to...just like when you run your credit llets says to get a credit card or something they only check one place not all of them. They wont delete them.

I am facing a situation with a Credit Bureau - Equifax. It is regarding my personal information being updated incorrectly on my credit file they have. After providing them the proof of my correct date of birth, they did change it to the correct one on July 12, 2007. I noticed effective July 24, 2007 it has been changed back to the incorrect one that I disputed earlier. Upon my calling Equifax I was informed that they will change my personal information based on the report they receive form their member creditor(s). My concern is that they rely more on their member creditors than the proof that was provided to them for my correct date of birth. I wonder if Equifax, and other credit bureaus for that matter, would do the same for any personal information. I would appreciate any suggestion you can provide on how to handle/deal with this problem.

i believe you are getting all worked up over something very petty -- yes if you have the time go for it- but it is like pushing water upsteam dealing this those folks!!!

But I was told by Equifax today that based on a member creditor's report they changed DOB back to the incorrect one. I unsuccessfully tried to have them explain to me that why they rely more on member creditor's report when they have proof of my DOF in heir files. It was VERY frustrating. They won't tell me which creditor reported wrong DOB, instead they suggested that I should call ALL the creditors I have/am dealing with.

I have a court judgment against another party and I want it recorded with the 3 major credit bureau's, how is this done?

Credit bureaus regularly check court records looking for judgments. They are public records and available to anyone. You don't have to do anything but be patient....it will make it to their reports.
