Credit Free Monitoring Report Score

It didn't state the CREDIT SCORE on it and don't mind paying for it, but only it, I dont want to sign up for some monitoring website I just want to find out what my score is. I am planning on buying a car and paid off quit a few bills this last year and want to know my score before I go to the dealership? Can anyone tell me a website that will ONLY tell you your score not sign you up for other stuff?

I checked my credit score today and it has dropped 22 points with in the last week or so. According to my credit report my revolving debt is $60.00 than it was the last time which is about right BUT when I look at the individual accounts on my report all the balances say the same exact thing they did a week ago. I belong to a credit monitoring service offered through one of my credit cards so I can get a free credit report and updated score as often as I want.

Have you applied for a lot of credit recently? Sometimes, applying for credit, or even pulling up your credit bureau report, known as an inquiry, will lower your score. Do you have any accounts that are over the credit limit? Accounts that are at or over the limit can also lower your rating.

I heard that eveyone is allowed one FREE credit report a year. but all the internet companies charge a monthly fee to monitor if there is a change in your credit.? They say FREE credit report only $29.95

You're entitled to one free credit REPORT a year from each of the three credit reporting companies at annualcreditreport.com. This does NOT include your credit SCORE. You can buy your credit score directly from each of the three companies (TransUnion, Experian, and Equifax).

I know how to get a free credit report, but it doesn't include the FICO score. Does anyone know of a reliable internet (or other) source to obtain the credit score? I've followed a few links but they all cost money and seem to be some kind of scam to get you to enroll in a credit monitoring service for $xx per month, which I don't need. It seems like lenders really rely on credit scores, but shouldn't a consumer have easy access to their own.

If you contact the credit bureaus (any of the 3 of them-where you can get your free credit report once a year, no charge), you can get the score for a small fee. You don't have to "sign up" for any monitoring services if you go directly through the credit bureaus.

I was considering signing up for a credit monitoring program thru Transunion ~ are there any downfalls to this? The reason I was considering is because I am rebuilding my credit and want to monitor my progress (I want to recieve my credit report and score more than the free once a year) Any experiences with credit report monitoring

Yup, it's nice to have for the curious minded but try and avoid paying for it. For example, my bank sends me alerts for free but you can also get credit monitoring for free as well through other sites like privacyplus.
