Experian Business Credit Report

Seriously, about a little more than 100% of all important business check your credit report from transunion. Whats the point of the other Experian and Equifax? I looked at all 3 reports and all inquiries were on transunion.

It actually depends on which part of the country you are in. There was a time when these companies were region specific and were independant of each other. In my part of the country, Equifax provides the majority of accurate information when I pull someone's credit. Also, lenders now utilize all 3 bureaus to get a median score for you. I would guess that you are in the middle of the US somewhere if Transunion seems to get pulled more. These companies have done business with one bureau for a long time and the cost has remained low so they don't bother to utilize other companies due to cost.

i just checked credit report with Experian. it does not show homedepot credit card acount on credit report. i have this card for over 2 year and i am using it everyday for my business. i called homedepot 800# and asked what credit Bureau they report to. they says they are using Experian. this card is open with my ss. who should i call? Experian or Homedepot 800#? do i need to check business credit report ? how much is it cost? thanks for your answers and time. please help---thanks again.

Switch to Lowe's

I've recently applied to get a business start up loan and the company (Noble Financial) said my score was "0" and I know my score is "705" from checking with "Freecreditreport.com (Experian)" and I've made all my master credit card payments on time and in full and had nothing on my report that would lower it. My history is only five months, but I know my score can't be "0".

I have never used one of the credit report websites as I never wanted to pay for the service. Depending on your state, you can actually check your credit report from each of the 3 credit reporting agencies through annualcreditreport.com and it's for free (again, depending on your state). I've never heard of a "0" score, but it is estimated that 75% of all credit reports have errors on them, so it is very important to keep a close eye on it and attempt to correct the errors (it's a nightmare!). They may not be giving you a true fico score, maybe they are giving you a score that they have formulated. I would certainly check directly with Experian and have them send you your report and score if they provide it.

my credit score is low and probably will be until Equifax, Experian and TransUnion decide to ' up it.' How can I speed up the loan process so I can open a small business? I got turned down by Prosper.com because of their scoring methods. The bank has turned me down too. I feel like there is something I could be doing to help the situation. I have already disputed items on my reports andcannot find a high interest lender where I live. Please do not send E-mail addresses and say you loan money. I have tried you all and cannot even get in your sites. If you are not registered at the Better Business Bureau.... I don't want your help.

Try the small business association. They are supposed to help people with good business ideas acquire loan guarantees. If you show that you have disputed/cleared up the credit issues and have a good business plan it should not be too hard to get the guarantee. Good luck.
