Experian Credit Report Dispute

I received my credit report from experian and have to call them about a dispute. The problem is that I did the online look up and there is no telephone number listed I can call and talk to a real person!!! The only info I get is "look on your printed report and call that number" Ha Ha, I would like to do that! So anyone out there who can give me the customer service telephone number from their experian credit report. PLEASE I filed a dispute but found out in the meantime that everything was correct. So I would like to cancel the dispute and have to talk to someone since I can't cancel over the internet.

Don't worry about cancelling the dispute. If you found out the information is valid, when they attempt to verify it they will find out the same thing. There is no penalty, other than not being able to dispute the SAME information again. But since you say it is correct this is not a worry you need to have.

I have been unable to get anyone on the phone at the Campus Partners via the number they give at 800-344-8609 and cannot seem to find the right directory for filing disputes in their automated response system. I have already initiated a dispute via Experian's credit expert. Please help me find out how to get a live person on the phone with Campus Partners. I've also already tried pressing 0 and # and * all the usual keys that indicate "operator" in similar systems. One issue I am having is getting a live person on the phone. I have no idea how to get a live person from Campus Partners on the phone. Their automated response system will not let me get to an operator or any person. As a result I cannot ask them any questions or collect necessary information to file a complaint with the BBB.

Contact the credit reporting agencies and ask this same question. It sounds like you have done what you need to do to get through to Campus Partners and they are not responding, which is a red light to many of us not to get involved with them while we are in college. You can file a complaint with the Better Business Bureau also. Have you tried that? Make sure you have all your documentation on when you called Campus Partners, where you left the voice message, who you talked to (and I always say be as thorough as you can on getting who, what, when you talked to these companies because it will make a difference if you have to file a complaint). That is the catch if you have disputed it and it was verified by your creditors then its legit and legally you cant remove legit entry's. I am sure there are a few creative ways to go about it, I have heard all kinds of stuff. I do know I have had a friend who kept disputing over and over and she did get even legit entry's off. I wouldn't advise that but then again I am not in the business of repairing credit through dispute. We have asked creditors to remove an entry they do have that power and most of the time they will. What is the telephone number of Experian, Transunion, and equifax? I need to send them a letter from the collection agency that they want my account deleted, they sent the request and sent me proof in letter form. The telephone numbers for these 3 agencies lead me nowhere, I never get in contact with a live rep. Can anyone help guide, me on how I can get the account removed, I have the deletion letter with me. I am trying to dispute my own credit and receive Trans Union and Equifax every month, but with Experian I am lucky to it every 2-3 months. I am getting letters saying they believe a third party is sending it. Does anyone have any idea's for me to get my credit reports from Experian? Thanks

I went through the same thing with Experian. I even sent back a copy of my drivers liscense, utiliy bill, ect. Everything they asked for I sent back several times and they still wouldn't investigate anything..They are sending you "Stall Letters". I haven't found a way to make them do the right thing and it's virtually impossible to talk to anyone on the phone and they are always changing their numbers. Bottom line is they are stalling you because they are too lazy to investigate.
