after u are beeing denined credit u recieve a leltter taht u can request a free copy from that agency withinh 60 days, and doing soo will not show a inquiry on ur account, and a minus 3 on ur score but but when u chek out over the phone to get ur freee report u are beeing asked if u wanna purchase ur fico score also with the freee report, for 6 dollar feee, my question is ? doing soo will it be a hard pull with score? purchased, or just a soft pulll like when getting the free report in 60 days? tahnks

It will be a soft inquire. Also this is the correct information when obtaining your credit report. Some company's will give you incorrect information to attempt to profit from your situation. I pulled my credit report last night, and it has just been updated for the new quarter of this year. I saw two items in collection on there that I have never had. One is for a satellite bill, and the other is for a dentist visit in a town thousands of miles away from me. I have already tried to contact the satellite company and they said they could not give me an address where the satellite was hooked up. How come they can't? This was a recently opened account, less than six months ago. My question is who do I report these things too, and what will actually be done about it if anything?? I am almost certain that i know who did this to me, but I have not been able to gather any certain evidence to prove it yet. I have read online to contact the credit beauraus and the collection agencies. Do you know of other people that I should contact also? Thanks in advance for any help!! God Bless!

1. File a police report 2. File a report with the Federal Trade Commission 3) Place a freeze on all 3 credit bureaus 4. Dispute the charges with the credit bureau(s) 5. Dispute the charges with the dentist & satellite company 6. Sue the dentist & the satellite companies

how can I report credit history for my borrowers to the credit reporting agencies. Does anyone know what is the procedure, and how far back can I report the information.

Contact Transunion.com, Equifax.com and Experian.com Each of them should have a "corporate/business" link to where you can contact an account rep, set up an acct with each and begin submitting customer's credit. Best wishes.

It seems every website that advertises a free report is just after your credit card number or some other area of monies. I'm just looking for the bottom line. Can I get a credit report without obligation of rendering my credit card number or cash of anykind.

Yes you can go to annualcreditreport.com you can see all 3 of your credit reports and also dispute anything and its FREE.

I know of credit card fraud going on and I want to report this to the FBI, but I am concerned for my well being. This person is using a dead person's name and credit cards, and they need to be stopped. Can I do this, without my name or location being revealed? I want to thank all of you, for the wonderful suggestions, which were all good.I am sad to say I don't know who specifically (credit card companie) holds those cards; otherwise I would have moved on it a lot quicker. I'm dumbfounded that the credit rating corps didn't catch this. But the erpson continues to use a dead person's cards,....and the people in this posting could be dangerous. Again, thanks to all of you,.....there are so many avenues I can possibly explore.

Maybe someone ELSE should make the call to the FBI. That would be me. Use the system email to give me the details -that could actually be used as evidence and to put the finger on this guy. You gotta name names, addresses, phone numbers, credit card numbers, who the dead guy is. And you don't have to give me your actual email. Just the facts. OK?
