Free Online Annual Credit Report

I can't seem to find anywhere to get my credit score online. I'm aware that in the states your allowed one report from each of the major credit companies per year for free. Does this apply to Canada? What are the companies called in Canada? How do you get it online?

i know you are allowed to get a free credit report from annualcreditreport.com and that you are allowed one free report from each of the three credit agencies a year. however, does when they say "each year" does that go by: one sometime between 2006-2007 or would the year go by like say you got one in september 2006, would you not be able to get another until september 2007? i'm only wondering because i looked back in around november 2006 last year and i went to go look at it today and it told me that i already looked at it for free online this year, and i haven't tried to access in 2007 until today...does that mean i have to wait until november?

www.annualcreditreport.com That is the only website that is truely free where you do not have to sign up for anything. It does not tell you your credit score though just the things in your report.

I went to annual credit report and entered in my information it said with two creditors that... It could not give the information online for many reasons a few it listed was a fraud alert (which i didnt not place on it) military duty freeze ( i am not military) or information did not match up correctly. Could it be that its because I have 0 credit... or should have no credit. I havent worked in 8 years and never had a credit loan ect. One creditor though said I MAY have a mortagage in my name from Oct. of 2006 but it randomly said this when I didn not enter my middle inital in. I called to request a report be sent to me for free but if it said online it couldnt send this information because things may not have matched up does this mean that I wont be able to have one mailed to me either?? And is there a way to call the credit agencies and talk to an actual person instead of a computer? edit- Im assuming it may be someone with the same name. It could be someone with the same name who has credit and since I dont have any its trying to give me theirs. equifax is the one that said there May be something... transunion and experian both said that invalid info.. or mismatched info ect.

go directly to the web site transunion, experian, or equifax pull it, check it out, and make corrections with the bureaus if necessary. It;s a tidieous process hang tight

What I meen by no funny buisness is I do'nt sign up for any services that offer my free credit report- -"all they want is my credit card number" When I say FREE,I mean.........FREEEEEEEEEE!!!!!
