Free Transunion Credit Report

I recieved my free credit report online threw annualcreditreport and it says I have 30 days to view it free online, My question is, Is it up to date? I am waiting for credit from capital one to post to it, but it hasnt yet. I was wondering if the report I look at is up to date so I can see when they post it on my credit report or will I have to order one in another month.

You can view it online for 30 more days, but they won't keep updating it within that 30 days. In other words, the information won't change.

I went to the site that said free and you can only use it once a year? and i did the experian and transunion and they asked for a credit card.which i dont have. the third one was going fine but asked for a security question and I didnt get a mortgage back in aug. of "06" so i clicked none of the above and it said that i didnt answer it right. could someone tell me a real free site or what im doing wrong? response. I can provide any info that they want but i dont have a credit card so i cant use 2 out of 3 and the third has things that are not from me. i am wondering if someone used my identity? I never had a credit card in my life and had a mortgage back in 91 with my mom and it was paid off by 98. was only 43,900. but havent gotten a mortgage since. ugh........... freeannualcreditreport.com isnt really free well 2 out of 3 are not free this is soo frustrating. how can this be?

I have gone on to freecreditreport.com. Why are they asking for a credit acrd number? Isn't everyone supposed to get 3 free credit reports a year. Every website I go to like experian, transunion, and equifax all ask for a credit card to pay for a monthy membership. I don't want a membership. I just want my damn credit report mailed to me and thats it!

I got my free credit report of Transunion and My Score was 710. I have noticed some error, which I want to correct so I have subscribed to Transunion which is just 5days after. When I loged in, I see my credit score reduced by 25 points, looking for any negative report there was nothing other than one possitive report form Mortgage co. How come my 25points vanished within 5 days without any negative posting. I got both report printed . Any body have any idea?

This is inregard to going to the Internet using the web site www.annual credit report.com .to get one's free credit report from the three main credit report companies " Experian " . " Equifax" , and " Transunion " (sp).. Although by a new law , one can get a free credit report " one time " , is there a " gimmick " whereby you are inviting all kinds of spam people to bombard you with sales deals , or worse , requiring you to make purchases ? Appreciate feedback !

Go strait to the credit unions websites. You can get one credit report free each year. If you get it thru annual credit reports.com you join a credit service. Go straight to the source. I do it every year at the same time. Go to each website Equifax- Transunion- Experian
