I know there are dozens of sites that offer a free credit report where you must sign up for a free 30-day trial of some program that monitors your credit. Is there any site that doesnt need this subscription? If not, is this method safe?

https://www.annualcreditreport.com/ The only one that will really give you a free anual report without subscription.

every time i try to pull the free report up, they require a credit card. that's not free.

there're is one site that is supose to be free.... www.annualcreditreport.com I'm not in the U.S. now so each time I try and check the site is "missing"... I think it's because they know I'm checking from a computer outside of the U.S.

freecreditprofile.com offers a 30 day trial. You do have to give a c.c., but they only do a pending charge of $1 just to make sure your c.c. is active. You even get a credit score. Just cancel it when you print your report otherwise it's $9 per month charge.

How do I obtain my free yearly credit reprot from the mojor credit agencies. I have heard that a law was passed and all agencies were to provide a persons credit report free once a year. I have encountered several websites claiming to be free but there are none that i have yet to come across. I do not have a bank account to paypal any of these credit report sites. How do I find the mojor credit agencies and how do I get my free credit report.

annualcreditreport.com if you live in Georgia, you are allowed 2 credit reports a year. another way to get it is to contact transunion, equifax or experian directly at their 800 #. all you have to do is tell them that you were turned down by a lender. they will mail you a free copy of your credit file. best of luck to you!
