i have a bunch of things in my name and a credit card, but whenever i apply for things concerning credit it says i have unsubstational credit, i am trying to get approved to finance a home and i was wondering what kind of credit score i would have with no bad credit but unsubstantial?

you're probably around 600 to 650. you probably should think about getting a couple of store cards and that will help your credit file.

Depends on the dealership. I want to say 600 is rougly the break off point where it's up to the dealership wether they want to put you on high risk paper, with a high interest rate or if your too much of a risk. They not only look at your score but whats on the report. You can have a low score, but recent solid history with all your accounts in good standings but you made some mistakes. They might just have a high interest rate.

Credit scores are VERY overrated when it comes to renting an apartment. My dads has rented homes and condos for 30 years and never checked a credit score. Normally even the ones do will over look bad credit if you can come up with a large security deposit, or like 2 months rent. People getting rejected for apartments based on credit scores are probably trying to get places that they really can not even come close to affording.

Is this it? Will I get the same answer at other dealerships? Should I go with a less expensive vehicle? Give a bigger deposit? Co signer is out of the question (don't want one don't have one). I'm staying below 15,000 and putting up an average deposit. The sales man said to take the deal in 6 months and refinance it once my score is higher. Is this real information? Or should I just keep looking?
