Around how much would it cost to get a policy for health coverage with maternity coverage also if you take the policy out yourself. I have Insurance now, but my job is moving to Tampa in about 4 months so I will need to get Health Insurance myself. Does anyone have any idea????? I was thinking about BCBS!!!

The cost can vary depending upon your location. In my area a $1000 deductible without maternity for a 21 yo F runs $100 - $150 per month with BCBS being the highest. For policies that cover maternity you're looking at $200 to $338 per month, again with BCBS being the highest. The waiting period for maternity benefits also vary on the policies from 9 months to 36 months before you can receive full benefits, BCBS has a waiting period of 12 months. You'll want to visit a local independent agent who can shop around for you and find the best policy for your situation. With individual policies you can be penalized for pre-existing conditions even if you don't have break in coverage. The company will cover in certain cases but they can also put a rider on the condition or decline to cover you. The agent will be able to advise you on this as well.

I was hit by a metro park gate while driving my fiance's car which is insured under his name. I am not insured uner his policy, so therefor "dont have insureance" will the insurance company still pay because its insured? or will be stuck because i have no insurance? You should be alright as long as your fiance notifies the insurance agency that you will be driving his car and he allows it. The car's insurance (the car owner's insurance) is primary over the driver's insurance, in the case of borrowing cars.

if you do not call the poice in a minor fender bender and you later call your insurance company to file a claim because you find you have damage to your car what is the driver who you were in the accedent respocable. you both have full coverage insurance and live in michigan. the driver with no damage was barrowing the car from someone and they were not on the car's policy.

Not enough information. The fault is determined by the circumstances of the accident - not the damage, not if police were notified, etc. Whoever rearended the other guy is at fault. Whoever had the stop sign is at fault. Whoever had the red light is at fault. Whoever was driving the wrong way, down a one way street, is at fault. After fault is determined, the insurance that covers the at fault car pays first; if they won't pay for some reason, the insurance that covers the at fault driver pays next. If neither of them pay, then the owner of the not at fault vehicle has to sue the other owner and driver directly for damages.

If these accidents were reported to the police or to prior insurance agencies, the new insurance agency will know about them. They might give you a low rate when you apply if you don't tell about the accidents, but they will do a complete search before they actually issue the policy. When they find the accidents, they will bill you for the higher rate. If you don't pay them, they will cancel your insurance. Since the wrecks were not your fault, you might not be charged the higher rates. The best thing to do would be to contact several insurance agencies and have them check your history and give you an authentic rate quote. Independent insurance agencies (instead of State Farm, Geico, American Family, etc) can go through several different insurance agencies to find the best rates for you. For us, howver, American Family had the best rates and coverages.
