I've looked at setting up an online store and wondered who has the better web hosting, development, and overall service, Microsoft Office Live or Yahoo Small Business?

I want to create a small business website, as cheap as possible, wont need much webspace, will want email address etc. But i would really like an all in one cheap package, so i get everything from one person rather then bits from here and there. Ive tried Microsoft Office Live, but cant get past the credit card registration because I dont have a credit card >.< All help appretiated! Cheers!

Building a web site is easy, far much too easy. There are lots of ?what you see is what you get? (WHYIWHG) software programs that will enable you to create and build a web site in a matter of moments. Building a small business web site is totally different. I have a website at Wordpress.com and I want to move it to Microsoft Office Live Small Business without copying and pasting it. Is there any way I can use the exported XML file that I get from my website when I export it?

I am 22, live in Iowa and want to start my own business. I am currently working a full time job which I have had for 3 years and want to do something more. I have always wanted to have an accounting business on the side. I am very good with QuickBooks and Microsoft Office. Any suggestions on how to find small business needing this type of work would be most helpful. It would only be a part time job for now, and depending on how much work there is would depend on my rate.

All businesses need at the very least a bookkeeper and also the services of an accountant. If you are a licensed accountant you could open an accounting business. If you're not, you could open a bookkeeping business. Your best bet would be to advertise in a business/investment expo, yellow pages. Try and network with small business owners around your area and tell them what you can do for them, as far as bookkeeping goes.

i need to build a website for my small business. I was on Microsoft Office Live but I can't seem to do the page in HTML. I mean the whole page in html. I'm currently using the starting one that is free. Do they allow they allow the whole page to be done in HTML and I'm jsut not finding it or do I have to use their templates? If they don't allow html does anyone know a where I can get a domain name as in www.(name I want).(com, net, us, etc) and is ad free that is under $43 a year? The cheapest one I've found is Godaddy.com at that price.
