Yes you do. However, you will be allowed an exemption. Depending on your salary, the exemption can be more than your salary which would mean that no tax is due. Also, you should be allowed a credit for the taxes paid to the country where you live.

Lets say your in a art store or something and you plan to buy 4 marker's eack costing $3.69. How much will it actually cost after sales taxs was added?? And if you could explain how you got the total price. Thank You!

3.69 *4 = 14.76 14.76 *tax(in WA in 7% in Thurston County)(0.07) = 1.03 14.76 +1.03 = 15.79 for total cost after tax added.

so, to start you off. Less tax : greater democrasie, as "people" have greater buying power. ideally sound, could be logicistical problems. More tax; higher equality, meaning that we can take better care of the vunerable. What do you think?

did u guys know that the tax that we pay most of the time doesn't benefit US?? there governtment shouldn't be taking alot of other's people's moeny for other people's stupid social problems. social problems are supposed to be fixed not by using the govt. and this is aslo violating the Const. cuz ur not allowed to take other's property, but the govt. can just not for other people's sake.(the govt. does it also to stay in power)

Amendment 16---The Congress shall have power to lay and collect taxes on incomes, from whatever source derived, without apportionment among the several States, and without regard to any census or enumeration. Not sure what to say about the rest of your question/comment.
